Due to a combination of morbid curiosity, excessive energy, and the inability to sit still, Farrell has been acting, singing, drawing, creating stories, making animal noises and running amok since her preschool days.
With a lifelong interest in creating original, new narratives, Farrell helped devise, and perform in Trust Theatre Ensemble's production of The Bullycide Project while still in high school. A touring anti-bullying production, it traveled to hundreds of schools across the country, including a performance for the Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation people in Ontario, Canada and for the Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention Summit in Washington D.C in 2012.
In 2018, Farrell earned her BFA in Performance at the University of Michigan-Flint. There she performed in eight mainstage productions and earned two Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship nominations, as well as assisting scenic painting, facilitating the on-campus improv group, and acting as president o the Student Theatre Organization in her spare time.
After graduation, Farrell served as a year-long resident artist at Thunder Bay Theatre in Alpena, Michigan. In addition to her onstage work throughout their 2018 season, Farrell also worked heavily as a scenic artist, as well as an educational theatre artist through their Binge the Bard Shakespeare Tour, educating and entertaining over 1200 students all around Northern Michigan.
Currently, Farrell finds herself all over the map and eager for the next journey this wacky art adventure seems to be taking her on! When not on stage, she also likes to collect vinyl, locate the tasiest local burger, hang out in thrift stores, watch drag queens on youtube, and scour the internet for Sandra Bullock movies (Practical Magic is a must).
